I am a 19 year veteran of the hotel business. My career has entailed everything from cleaning the guest rooms of Hollywood's movie producers and keeping mum on the dirty secrets of their guest room to escorting celebrities and wannabe celebrities through the back door to avoid the paparazzi. The hours can sometimes be long and grueling, and you just never know what a day can bring in the life of a hotel. The sheer anticipation of what the next hour, day, month or year can bring forth, keeps me living on the edge. The drama, the politics, the secrets, the fame & no fortune, has filled my each and every day in this business I call life. My career has taken me across Canada and back, I have worked in the finest of hotel brands in Canada. The style and ambiance may be different at each hotel, but deep in the heart of the hotel the dynamics are always the same. The sheer passion and desire to see the next celebrity check in. The rich, the famous, the politicians, society's elite; they all have secrets when they check into a hotel. Some guests are great, some are really bad, and you wonder how their mother let them out the door with those manners!
